Rose Gold Sliders: The Outfit

Top - ASOS ((old) // Skirt - Oasis // Sliders - ASOS // Bag - Zara // Sunglasses - River Island
This is an outfit I put together with the sliders I showed in my previous post. As I mentioned before, I am in love with these sliders! They are so comfortable and look lovely. I paired them with an a-line denim skirt and a simple white top. For the accessories I added these cool reflectors sunglasses from River Island (through ASOS) and small snakeskin bag from Zara. Summer is coming to an end here in the UK, however, I will be going on holiday next month so will be able to hold on to the sunshine for a little longer xo

ASOS Rose Gold Sliders

I've been wanting a pair of shoes in this style for a while and I've been loving rose gold for a long time, so when I saw these on ASOS I knew I had to buy them. They are honestly one of the most comfortable pair of footwear I have at the moment, and they look so chic. I recently paired them with a pair of blue jeans and a white swing vest to create a classic chic outfit. 100% real leather, they fit true to size and your feet won't slip and slide as you walk. If you're looking for a pair of shoes like this I urge you to give them a try, they also come in black xo

Cold Shoulder

Cami & Jeans - ASOS // Sandals - Office
As I'm sure you're all aware, a hot trend this spring/summer is the Cold Shoulder. Whether it's strapless, one-shoulder or cut out, baring your shoulders is in! In this post I'll be showing a cut-out top that I recently bought from ASOS. I love the simplicity of the top, and the ease in styling it. In this instance I opted for a casual outfit, however, it can just as easily be dressed up into an outfit for a night out.
Although they are not the focus of this post, I am literally in love with the sandals I'm wearing here. I bought them on sale from Office and they are so comfortable. They're a great addition to my summer wardrobe and have already been worn a number of times since buying them a couple of weeks ago xo

A Piece of Me In... Berlin, Germany #2

Berlin Cathedral
DDR/GDR Museum
Holocaust Memorial
Jewish Museum
The second and final photodiary of my time in Berlin focuses on the museums and historical monuments I visited.

Whenever I travel to another country I make an effort to learn about their culture and their history. We visited most of the historically relevant areas in Berlin. I won't go into the details but I'm sure you know Berlin was involved in a very serious point in history and it was incredibly insightful and somewhat chilling to learn more about what happened.
For example, the last image shown above is of an installation by Menashe Kadishman in the Jewish Museum called Shalekhet (Fallen Leaves) in the Memory Void; it represents the innocent lives lost throughout history, the victims of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

We also went inside the Reichstag Building, visited the Topogrophy of Terror, Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie xo

A Piece of Me In... Berlin, Germany #1

Lovely breakfast at Strandbad-Mitte
Lebanese lunch at Zaim
For my birthday a couple of months ago, a friend and I went to Berlin for a few days. I'm not sure where the urge to travel to Berlin came from, but once I decided that I wanted to go away for my birthday I knew that Berlin was the spot. It seems as though I always choose the coldest countries to travel to in March; it was freezing cold when we were there! I'm sure there was sleet at some point as well! For this reason I chose health over fashion and wrapped up warm so my outfits won't be the focus of these diaries, but there was lots to see and do.

Short city breaks are great, we spent three nights and managed to do a lot of the tourist-y things. There was a lot of graffiti in Berlin. I found it to be a colourful city with lots to look at. No matter where we went there was some kind of artwork on the walls. And we had some cool graffiti outside our hotel room! We visited East Side Gallery that is literally just one continuous wall of graffiti.

We ate out pretty much every day, but funnily enough, we didn't have any German food... ridiculous, I know lol! My favourite place to eat was an Italian restaurant called Ristorante a Mano. The food and atmosphere were amazing! We had such a great night there, honestly some of the best Italian food I've had - and if you know me you know I love Italian food! Definitely worth a visit if you're in Berlin.

Have you visited Berlin? What did you think? xo
