A Piece of Me In... Lisbon, Portugal #3

This next post will show the pictures I took when in Baixa-Chiado, or Downtown Lisbon, which is described as the heart of the city. To get there we took a tram, my first ever tram ride! We also took a stroll through Bairro Alto, which is quite quiet during the day however is transformed at night into the city's vibrant nightlife. We had lunch in Nicola Cafe in Rossio Square which faces the National Theatre and St. George's Castle. There is something about the buildings in Lisbon that I find so beautiful, so there are A LOT of pictures of buildings in this post... Actually, there's just a lot of pictures full stop :)
Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição Velha
I arrived in Lisbon at the beginning of Lisbon Week, which was a week of celebrating the art, history etc of Lisbon, with concerts and lectures in unexpected places.
Camões Square (Praça Luís de Camões)
Top - H&M // Skirt - Topshop (also seen here) // Bag - my friend's
Was not ready for this one... I kinda like it though
Comercio Square (Praça do Comercio) & Figueira Square (Praça da Figueira)
In the distance is the Monument to Christ (Cristo-Rei), which was built in 1959 in thanks to God for having spared Portugal in the Second World War.
My lunch was grilled cod with Portuguese potatoes
Dulce de Leche cheesecake... I love me some cheesecake :)

A Piece of Me In... Lisbon, Portugal #2

Today I'm going to share with you pictures I took when my friend and I went to the beach in Costa da Caparica. Apparently, I've been to the beach when I was younger but because I can't remember it I'm going to say that this was my first time going to a sand beach :) Everything was so beautiful and the weather was gorgeous. It was a really chilled day filled with a nice walk, sunbathing and a few splashes in the sea.

A Piece of Me in... Lisbon, Portugal #1

Hey guys!

It's been a while, right?! Well, the reason being is that last week I went to Portugal for 5 days. I have a friend who is out there studying/working and I decided to go and visit her for a little getaway before I head back to uni. This was actually my first real holiday; without my family, without my school that I paid for by myself. And it was my first time flying on a plane by myself!

The next few posts are basically going to be a photo diary of my time in Lisbon. I had the best time out there and I would really love to share this first time experience with you. A lot of the pictures taken were of buildings because I thought they were absolutely beautiful. I would love to go back! Just a heads up these posts are going to be heavily picture based... :) This first one consists of pictures I took on our way to and on Rua Augusta; a pedestrian street with beautiful mosaic pavements and loads of shops & restaurants.

I didn't take many photos on my first full day as my friend had work in the morning/afternoon, but stay tuned for more... xo

NOTD | Nude Berry

Hey guys,
I decided to put two of my most loved nail colours together, with Berry Ice-Cream by Barry M (shown here) as my feature nail and my favourite nude (shown here) on the rest of my nails. I've seen a lot of people with this style (having two colours with one as a feautre) so I decided to try it as well xo

Kimono

Kimono - Primark // Cami & Jeans - Topshop // Sandals - Office // Bag - Primark
Yet another daytime look for you lovely lot. I've had this kimono for about 2 years now and I've only worn it a few times. I snatched it up from Primark the summer before I left for uni (when I was actually working in Primark) for only £5. Although summer is almost over, paired with the cami this kimono is perfect for warmer days. I brought the outfit together with my Joni jeans that I've been raving about for ages now, my brown bag which I've shown you before and a pair of sandals; as well as midi's and brown bags, I'm obsessed with brown sandals too :/ xo
